Basically it comes down to politics. USF won’t get FSU or Miami’s vote right now imo. Maybe later down the road since FSU is basically leaving the ACC

so article says SMU can hold up to 32,000 and espn has attendance listed as just over 31K. what was their average attendance last year?

Didn't Stanford and Cal have attendance issues too or am I just making that up?   That move by the ACC last time was total BS.

Ehhh we never had a chance.

Basically SMU whored themselves out to them by forgoing revenue sharing.

Bulls donors and good common sense aren't up for playing that game...

I was at Cal’s home opener against Davis. The Davis fans were more vocal, and the crowd was ok. Part of the home side looked a little thin. Though the sun was beaming.

The nice HS stadiums hold 15-20k, maybe 40-50k in the playoffs.  Sounds like you are a little bit jealous of the lone Star state, what gives?
