Hell yeah! Don’t think the travel costs will be worth joining the big 12 over the ACC. And I am just speculating like I have always been doing from the beginning. If USF already knows the ACC invite is coming would they waste their time even entertaining the thought of joining the big 12? Especially with rumors of big 12 teams leaving?

So I hear travel costs  a bunch.  Is it the costs or the time?  I have always thought the disadvantage lies in the time and distance of travel, time zones changes etc.   I think almost every sport flies so I am not sure how much more that means in travel costs.  Do any teams still take busses to games?

Yes,  I agree that the long term costs would actually be seeing all of USF other sports suffer do to traveling way out west. Would take a tool on the win column & thus hurt the programs in the long run with having to replace coaching staffs.  Plus factor in that USF exposure will be better by playing schools in that Eastern time zone compared to the western time zones. Big 12 will be a good fall back option for USF if they don’t get invited to ACC imo. However things can always change
