I mean, sure, mediations don’t always work. Court-ordered mediations are pretty standard in litigation. Sometimes they work, often they don’t. But it would be a mistake to conclude they’re a waste of time. I expected to hear about an impasse (at least) by now. Maybe tomorrow.

I don't see any reason why they would feel the need to do that at this point.

Or could be messaging for ACC teams (from B12 boosters) to get 'em jumpy.  Where will the money to pay UConn come from?

Yeah but they are stuck in the GOR so they can be jumpy all they want. Basically only two schools will ne able to afford that large settlement and that will be for spots in either SEC or Big Ten imo. I don’t think USF jumps to the big 12 knowing that they are more than likely ACC bound.

I would take any power invite we that can our way. The teams in the B12, Acc, B1G, and SEC would be better matchups for people in the stands, better tv ratings, better football, and bring more talent to the Bulls.

Beggars can't be choosers. We all have our preferences, and for good reason. How about this - would you rather join the B12 for next season, or wait until 2027 for the ACC? Or 2030 for the B1G? The choice is simple - you take the first invite offered. If we're further wanted down the line, we will be able to make that choice when it comes to it.
