Didn’t there used to be a Whataburger in Lakeland that closed some years ago?

There used to be one in Largo in the area of Ulmerton/Starkey probably 10 plus years ago.

Yes I believe. Also used to have Whataburgers in Tampa. The latest one was on W Hillsborough Ave and I remember going there before they closed. Now they rebranded and the ones I had our west seem much better imo.

Indeed, amigo. What I ran up against was the incredible number of retired attorneys who took up the less-time-consuming field of mediation, post-retirement. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, but they do have a leg-up as far as networking connections. The most frequent openings are via the Florida Supreme Court's staffing of each circuit. Granted, it's not going to be a full time pay-the-rent sort of gig (in most cases), but if you can apply to multiple circuits, you stand a good chance of getting called up, and it helps to be certified in as many disciplines as possible (e.g., family, appellate, etc.).  In the Sixth Judicial, mediation was scheduled for two days per week (though you'd get but one of those), every other week. I'd usually get one day per month.  If you can align with a law firm and go the private mediation route, that could be a rent-paying endeavor. Small claims / county working for the Supreme Court is not that far removed from volunteering. If you go out for lunch, consider your mediation today to be pro bono

There used to be one in New Port Richey on 19, and one in Palm Harbor too.  Probably 15 years ago at this point.
