Weird USF story, but the first time I ever saw Rudy was in my master's business law class in the basement of the bunker building.  Maybe it was undergrad actually.  I can't remember anything.  Whatever the big auditorium room was.  He advertised it like hey we are doing a movie night this semester so we will end class early and watch Rudy.  A lot of people left but many stayed.  I love football so what else was I going to do?

Yeah at the end I was trying to not cry in front of all my classmates.  Too funny.  Did not expect that. 🤣

The movie was an actual fraud, and if you are so bad that the team has to threaten to quit to allow you dress for a game you are in the wrong sport.  This never happened anyways and in the real world Rudy is an ass per numerous sources.  A good movie but far from a tear jerker, and **** Notre Dame!

Yea I heard that too.  Kind of a bummer it was a nice story and a great movie.

 Breaking news Hollywood  made a movie that wasn't historically  accurate  but entertaining.  The Blind Side was a good movie,  but was not accurate.

I guess.  I'm most cases like the Blind Side I very much expect that.

But Rudy I really wanted to be 100% factual.  Maybe because when I first watched it I was young and naive.
