It's funny that folks in Hickory complain at length about traffic (which is interesting for a boy who lived in north Tampa and worked in Orlando), but the only real traffic jam is in the two blocks that have a Cookout, a Chik-fil-A, a Wendy's, a Checkers, a Starbucks and a Dunkin' Donuts.

I have serious issues with Checkers making your list.

Exactly! The Whataburger’s out west seem much better than when they had here in Tampa area. I believe Bradenton now has one so I may do a trip there to see how it compares
