You know... I doubt the B1G really cares about how people who grew up in Florida perceive who has the best football program.

We know the B1G wants into Florida and also wants big schools in big tv markets, in the AAU. If you simply go by those criteria... Guess who the only school in FL that checks all 3 of those boxes is? Yeah, that's right, USF.

UF: AAU, big enrollment, small tv market

Miami: AAU, small enrollment, big tv market

FSU: not-AAU, big enrollment, small tv market

USF: AAU, big enrollment, big tv market.

 

There is a greater than zero chance of it happening. buckle up boys.

Also, in case anyone didn't know, when people say "TV Market" they really mean DMA (Designated Market Area). Although the purpose of designating market areas is for TV ratings/advertising purposes, it's also an extremely accurate indicator of where people actually live. AKA, retired B1G fans that would love to see their team play without hopping on a plane.

have no doubts. we are on the radar, for sure. see posts above explaining why the "tv market" factor isn't really about tv.

"Miami and South Florida" sound like they are B1G teams in Florida. nobody would bat an eye, after a couple seasons.
