@theDudeofWV: Boise, UCONN, BYU, Cincy and USF on the radar for P12 & B12. All but UCONN would be football only.

@theDudeofWV: Boise, UCONN, BYU, Cincy and USF on the radar for P12 & B12. All but UCONN would be football only.

 

Makes sense for sure. We'd probably get better revenues, plus it would give our Olympic sports time to develop. USF BB is already on the cusp...I could see them becoming a viable P5 sport within a couple of years. 

 

But UConn headed that way? Would be nuts. They've never been a big revenue school on the football side, so wonder how they'd do with the massive Power 5 revenue increase.

I always love it when USF is mentioned. I would be okay with football only with the big boys. Anything to get our foot in the door. I wish football season would hurry up and get here.

Surprised Cincy wouldn't be considered for BB as well. They have a good basketball history.

Football only must be because of travel costs. 

 

UCF isn't being considered? Seems odd, I would think Big12 would want to bring us both to scoop up the i-4 corridor.

Uconn would be smart to do Football only and join Big East for everything else
