They are getting non-TV ACC shares from the CFP and NCAAT.  Also, shares from the incentive pool.   We might be able to make that work.

Do we have a billionaire benefactor like SMU? Last time I checked, no. Closest we have is Les Muma and he’s done plenty enough already. BTW, thanks, Les.

SMU just announced a sold out game against FSU and they are saying most of their games will probably sell out too. So yes, SMU 1st ACC season is already bringing in more fans & interest.

You take a reduced share if it gets you in at this point. I have been advocating for it for years. So long as you are making more than you currently make in the AAC then it is a no-brainer. What better way for the rest of the ACC to stick it to FSU than to invite USF into the conference while they are still in it!

This is probably what would make the most sense for the ACC to do right now. They should add USF & UConn and then they can add others if needed later. This helps both ACC & USF build up their brand. Looking at SMU seeing their stadium getting sellouts this season when they could barely draw flies is very telling how fans perceive schools being in a power conference.
