Disney market cap = 175B

Apple = 3.44T

Google = 2.21T

Amazon = 1.91T

Netflix = 273B

Moreover, their stock is down post-2020, meanwhile all the rest are at all time highs, and are feeling a lot of pressure from investors to trim the fat, unlike the rest.
 

Disney is the small kid being selected for afternoon basketball. They’re simply not in a position to be the highest bidder if the others want to be disruptive.

Some say the only way the Big Ten or SEC gets involved in realignment is if Notre Dame decides to stop being an independent.  Stay tuned. There's too many rumors for something not to go down soon.

Why would ND want to do that?  They make a ton of money and can schedule who they want.
