Some say the only way the Big Ten or SEC gets involved in realignment is if Notre Dame decides to stop being an independent.  Stay tuned. There's too many rumors for something not to go down soon.

If there is one acc team left they would hopefully assemble some form of a new conference so we can cut some of this dead weight in the AAC.

With the rumors coming out that FSU is working hard to get AAU status, I now highly doubt they will be going for big 12

That is a good point.   B12 had very little to offer academically prior to the 4-corners joining.   Now they have 5 AAU members.  Still, FSU being in the ACC hasn't resulted in them achieving that.

Mark my words, this iteration of the Big *12 will not make it to 2031.

"Pitt was a new name here, with Clemson, FSU, Louisville, VA Tech, Miami, and either NC State or GA Tech having previously been floated by Swaim."

Holy Hell, does flywareagle.com ask Swaim for tax advice too? Might as well refer to him Swami at this point.

That flywareagle site has to be using a bot to scrape the Internet for any and all realignment talk. No verification at all. Because they've posted articles weeks apart that go in completely different directions.
