I would not be surprise if the B10 was going after UF.  It would be a huge win for them and I think UF would really align with their research sharing etc.

Here is a wild prediction:

UF to the B10

FSU backfills to the SEC

USF backfills to the ACC

Everyone is happy they are not in a league with the tinmen.

 

This is the best case scenario for us. ACC still much stronger the B12 at that point.

When the USF recruit mentioned that USF will be moving to a new power conference, I wonder what that means. Does it mean we will see a whole new power conference forming or does it mean just joining an existing power conference?

Also I noticed that USF has been using Be Bold lately so I am wondering if that has some meaning in it regarding what is going on….

I would be totally be down with this model!

 

Give all the P4 conferences a presence in Florida... which makes certain rivalries ALSO rivalries for the conferences. 

Big12 - ucf

ACC - USF & Miami

SEC - FSU

B1G - Florida

 

(also, FIU would be a great addition to the American to play with FAU).

I think it just means that USF is trying to sell a future vision. To say things like "we aren't going anywhere anytime soon" would be quite counter productive to recruiting - so naturally we say the opposite. I highly suspect there is nothing official, nor unofficial, regarding any move of USF to a new conference. Have there been conversations? Sure. Have there been people interested in USF and our commitments to athletics? Sure. But nothing will even be "picking up steam" until FSU/Clemson comes to a resolution with the ACC. 

We have 3-5 years in the AAC - let's make them count. Show up, donate to the school and NIL, buy the players' merchandise, make a road trip or two, wear USF stuff where you are and everywhere you go. Go Bulls.

It means someone lied to him during the recruiting process.

My theory is we are looking toward the end state in the post NCAA.  The market and upside are too big to ignore (for anyone else but B12).
