I fully believe that USF is on the BIG radar (not saying we're being targeted but you cannot overlook the potential value/fit). If you look at the data and long term projections, it makes sense if FSU is not in the picture.

And when it comes to radar, are we talking that ground surveillance radar from the Army or are we talking Lockheed's SPACE FENCE? If it's SPACE FENCE, Plant High School might be 'on the radar'. 

It's interesting to look at both the SEC & B1G winning percentages, compared to ours. We're at 51.2%, regular season, all time, which would put USF on par with Mississippi State, South Carolina, Kentucky & Vanderbilt in the SEC and Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers, Northwestern and Indiana in the B1G.

First, he's forgetting that Miami is also tied up with the ACC via the GoR and has a relatively small enrollment/alumni base.

Pretty much the only thing preventing USF from out-recruiting everyone right now is our conference affiliation. We have so much going for us.. great coaching staff, brand new stadium coming up, etc.

The B1G representatives probably see that. The B1G doesn't need to only focus on programs that have been big time for a while, knowing that just being in the B1G makes a program big time.

As far as the ACC, it looks they will be fine as they are doing the smart thing by continuing to fight both FSU & Clemson and have not reached a settlement. No reason to make anything easy to make sure the other members are stuck.

And most of those mid-westerners are gonna move to the FL gulf coast someday if they haven't already.  Would give some of of the retired snowbirds a chance to see their alma mater play in Tampa every so often.  It really almost makes sense.

We may get to see the ACC -- ESPN Agreement in two weeks or so.
