Just figured out why ESPN didn't start up new areas for the AAC on their website. There isn't going to be one soon. If the P5Incorporate UConn, USF, UCF and Cincy in the new program iw would trigger renegotiation clause in TV Contract and ESPN could low nall it causing the conference to collapse. Every goes scurrying back to where they came from.

Disagree. Three years worth of 8-5 doesn't get us into the ACC or Big 12, in my opinion.

Maybe I'm delusional, but I see us as a much more attractive program with a potential BE championship under our belt, attendance figures floating around the 55k mark yearly, a bowl streak that is touching 8, and recruiting classes that are roughly top 30.

I doubt that had CJL been around, the past two seasons would be what they were. 

On the flip side, however, I'm not certain they would have gone up to ten wins either. 

If you'll recall we set the standard for mid-season in-conference melt downs under 

his watch, so I don't know that that would have changed for the better.

The good news for BYU, Cin, UCONN, USF & UCF is that if they are willing to make the jump they can be football only members in D4

 

 

D4 is the code word the P5 are using for their new power division. Reason all of them dissed NCAA at the Media Days. Planning on breaking away from NCAA, for football at least

 

 

So, how do the leftout five make the jump?  Would they be assigned a conference?  Take the open spots in the ACC?  How would this work?
