never listen to their official statements unless they already signed an agreement, as they could be making deal behind the scenes

It's simular to the dreaded vote of confidence from the Football GM about a head coach.

My highly placed sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity,

At least they were smiling when they said it, so that's comforting....

OR!  How about FSU to the American.

The AAC, like the Big12 is exploring PE.

They could give FSU a special PE deal that would ensure they receive huge funding AND since the AAC would be an easier path to the CFP EVERY YEAR... It's a no brainer.

After 3/4 years... they would get AAU (like USF -- who is now in the ACC) and jump to the B1G since the buyout was super super cheap.

Well, at least, that's a good troll post to those Big12 folks.

This is like 8D chess.   Like interdimensional physics particle chess.

The BigTen and SEC will deny interest until FSU/ Clemson have arrived at an exit deal and have an exit date. Now it would be the dumbest move in history if those two spent all this time and money and they don’t get an invite.

An official for the U.S. Department of Education, the federal enforcer of gender equity in sports, said Title IX rules will apply to future revenue dollars that schools share with college athletes, but the department declined to offer guidance on how schools should distribute the money between men and women to comply with the broad language of the law.

Mike Farrell (of the Mike Farrell Sports brand) believes that the college football world needs to slow its roll when it comes to FSU and Clemson imminently leav

"Rumors of the Big 12 helping to pay a buyout for both is ridiculous as they don’t have the money for such a thing without dipping into TV revenue and pissing off other teams in the conference," Farrell wrote. "I love realignment rumors. And we will continue to report and speculate on them because it’s fun. But we will also speak what we know. And right now, Clemson and FSU aren’t going to the Big 12 — and they don’t want to anyhow."
