The great thing about this is that it's all relentless speculation and a lot of putting together our favorite little fantasy resolution until the ink is dry on the new and improved legally binding documentation.  Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a world where we have to say something, anything, to maintain some measure of relevance. My sources tell me that FSU & Clemson are too valuable of a commodity to be left without a chair when the music stops. Regardless of fandom loves and hates, it's just another part of the business of college football. 

My highly placed sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, from an undisclosed location have intoned that when the commissioner says, "We're happy at sixteen/eighteen", he also doesn't say exactly WHICH sixteen/eighteen, nor does he say he wouldn't be ELATED at eighteen or twenty! 

You know, if the SEC & B1G were to drop losing programs, to make way for Chief Osceola & The Tiger, that's an end to Kentucky & Vanderbilt or Illinois, Rutgers, Northwestern and Indiana. But my sources also leaked that headcount reduction is not in the offing cause we're fond of bracketology in the spring.

I never listen to their official statements unless they already signed an agreement, as they could be making deal behind the scenes

Interesting the way he put that … unlikely to add if FSU leaves “& ACC survives”. If they leave and the ACC implodes, they might add them?

Also, did he add any validity to the Big12 adding them?
