What is funny is that the B12 letting Texas have more money than everyone else (longhorn network and so forth) is what made them unstable and the likes of Nebraska, Tx A&M and them leaving. The same would happen if they do that with FSU and Clemson, they would repeat their past mistakes. Hypothetically, IF the B1G and SEC stayed put and just FSU and Clemson left for the B12, the ACC picks up USF, UCONN, OSU and WSU, USF would make out huge (being matched with Miami rather than FSU/UCF). The only thing we would need to worry about is if the ACC just wanted to add 2 to replace and it maybe OSU and WSU to help Calford because the ACC would still have Miami in Florida.

Miami doesn’t have the $$$ that FSU has. I only see FSU & maybe Clemson being able to realistically reach a settlement to get out of the ACC. The rest are stuck

When push comes to shove, I think the ACC schools (including Miami) can generate revenue.  However, all but UNC, FSU and Clemson voted for expansion of the ACC.  Those three are the ones I'm watching.  Reading some wild theories that are out there about FOX and ESPN working together to consolidate.  Never a dull moment.

Social media is a ruin.  People have learned that they can get attention by spouting off at the keyboard.  While the interactions can be entertaining, as with conference realignment, it gets tiresome and bloated with "see I said it first" wannabes.  I am treating like the portal.  I will wait to see what the roster looks like on game day.  Until then...meh

This is very possible!  I was thinking at some point the back room collusion will happen to keep costs and bidding wars down since there is not enough true competition.  I did not think about a possible consolidation though.
