No i stopped reading when you skipped over addressing teams paying to leave to Big12 to go to the acc.

How do you know that I skipped over anything, if you didn't read the whole post?

Huh? What are you talking about? What do you need to check the logs for? I never edited my original post that set you off. I have no idea what you are on about, other than you are clearly upset about something and are yelling at clouds.

Since you took offense anyway and are suggesting that I have edited any of my responses after your post... here is the GIF i removed from my last post, out of concern that it would hurt your feelings:

Feel free to continue your weird argument, so that you can get your last word. I'm moving on.

Those teams don't make up for losing FSU and Clemson. The they would have to pay exit fees to move horizontally to another conference? Doesnt make sense.

Also, you have to think about what ND is looking at with the changes. They might leave their deal with the ACC.

Ok, I didn't see that post. I agree. Why would FSU and Clemson pay exit fees to move horizontally to the Big 12? Doesn't make sense.

However, WVU, Cinci, and ucf making a horizontal move to a conference that is closer geographically makes a lot of sense.

Who actually feels that the big 12 is better than ACC?

This is really the only point I was trying to make.

Big 12 fans think the Big 12 is better than the ACC.

ACC fans think the ACC is better than the Big 12.

Everyone else knows that they are essentially equal with or without Texas/OK and FSU/Clemson.

There is a place for both the Big 12 and the ACC in the college football landscape and either side rooting for the demise of the other is unwittingly rooting for the demise of college football in general.

I’d say currently the ACC is above the B12, but that changes if the B12 poaches FSU and Clemson. If they are the only schools that leave and go to the SEC or B1G I’d consider the B12 and ACC equals.

The major difference is that the B12 has stability in knowing that ESPN can’t opt out of their TV deal in 2025. If ESPN renews the ACC TV deal, or another network steps up with good money after ESPN declines the option, it would bring a lot of stability and prevent schools from leaving.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
