How do you see that playing out?

You mean how it will actually work out?  Gads, who knows

If you mean the PAC12, the only way the PAC12 was going to survive was to swallow the 8 teams from the B12 when USC and UCLA left.  They would have a clear #3 conference and have zero interest in east coast teams.

FSU and Clemson leaving the ACC USF would still have the same chance as now only our competition would be C, and Cinci (or some other orphaned B12 team) rather than WSU and OSU  (along with Memphis and Tulane).  USF already lost that battle once and not sure how it would go today.

With the B12 strong there is a bigger chance that maybe a few other teams leave the ACC.  The more that leave the better chance USF has of being added.  No matter what the ACC becomes it is better than the American.

The ACC isn’t weak just because FSU and Clemson wants to leave and make more money.

It’s a more reputable conference than the Big12.

I think it stays together. I hope we get an invite if FSU leaves.

If we are talking football then I am not sure how it is more reputable?  To me they both are a hodge podge group of midlings striving to stay somewhat relevant, hopefully we can reach that level soon.

My point is predicated on them not receiving invites to the P2.  If the Big 12 offered them more money and a chance to renegotiate a TV deal sooner, i wouldn't call that a lateral move.

But yes at the end of the day i do believe it is a PR move, but i don't think the possibility is 0%.

Nothing is 0 percent however i liken it to thisJim Carrey Chance GIF

I can see FSU/Clemson going to the B12 right after USF receives its NFL invite.

Everyone keeps talking about the Conferences and the teams like that is what matters most, but it isn't. The biggest decision maker in the FSU/Clemson situation is ESPN. They hold the purse strings and have the ability to negotiate a deal to the SEC for both teams by making assurances to the remaining ACC teams if they wanted to. ESPN will ultimately have the final say on what happens.

Do you mean the new NFL Jr. College affiliate league that will form?  Then yes we will be part of that one.

If I recall correctly, didn't ESPN pay the big12 millions of dollars not to expand during the 2016 expansion rumors. No doubt they drive the bus.

Also, remember, this all started AFTER Florida State was snubbed by the CFP...

Going to the Big12 (even after the conclusion of this lawsuit)... would not help their reasoning.

It seems that FSU (dunno about anyone else in the ACC) is putting a ton of effort forward to get to the P2.

Going to the Big12 (even with preferential media treatement) -- still sits them behind Oregon, Texas, OU, and UCLA.
