Agreed, not defending Trips, very rarely agree with him for this reason, just explaining his flawed thought process.

FSU and Clemson to the SEC is the best case scenario for USF (outside of the SEC just outright inviting us, which isn't going to happen). 

The South is too football important for the B1G, the true "national conference" to not have a presence. For the next round, come 28/29/30 (possibly before if the SEC balks at FSU), they will be adding schools from the south. Us, Miami, Georgia Tech, UNC, XYZ Texas schools (A&M?), all need to be competing as best we can over the next 5 years to make our case. 

There are people out there who talk a lot (podcasts, youtube, X, etc.), and there are people out there who talk very seldomly (usually people with real information), and someone who talks very little said they think it was no coincidence that Miami/ND/USF were added to AAU. It's a long shot, but it's greater than 0%.

They can do that well on their own without extra motivation, but yes it looks stupid like hitching our wagon to UCF before.

If August 15 is a deadline date for FSU, then that gives us 4 and half weeks to put up 904 pages.
