I don't know.  I would treat them as enemies in any official function.  Barely mention them, put them in the back corner, do not promote them, etc.  Bury their logos last.  Schedule meetings when they can't attend.  They are trying to destroy the entity.

Its about the optics in court.   Convincing the finder of fact that the ACC has acted in bad faith or has breached the contract.

I really wished that FSU sued the NCAA and the CFP committee instead of the ACC...

 

Like, I was hoping for the entire FBS structure to potentially change. 

 

But, they didn't... so, I hope they settle against the ACC for a large, yet bearable exit fee (that the rest of the ACC can NOT afford).

FSU is making a mistake but I understand it.  I am just frustrated, like many, over how money is ruining college football.  It is stripping away tradition and rivalries and laying waste to what was good about college football.

The only way out for us is to consistently win where we are.  It will make our fans happy and fill the seats, it will make players want to come here, it will make us more attractive(and ready) for expansion.  

 

Bingo! Now I hope people understand that this is one of the major reasons that i would prefer USF to be in the ACC over the big 12.  ACC has the better travel which is good across the board for all of USF athletics programs. Plus I feel USF will be able to step in and compete much easier compared to the other powe conferences. USF will basically win & become what FSU was for the ACC imo….

I think they are talking to private equity about this.  The payout in the P2 being so much higher that they could pay the private equity buy out.  But they have to get the number somewhere reasonable 

 

FSU does not have a contract with the NCAA that they could go after that I am aware of and the CFP committee has agreements with the conferences I believe.

I can't wait to be upset that we are dominating the ACC and are complaining about disappointing playoff assignments.  No really, that is going to be fantastic.
