3.  If the ACC loses FSU, Clemson, UNC and Miami (or some other team). Then there are rumors of a few others moving to the B12 (but nothing concrete).  Both the ACC and the B12 call and say we need a decision today.   Who do you pick and why?

The one that gives us the best deal.

What does that look like?  Money, stability, access, competition.

Seems to me more than $$.   Regionality and stability forefront to me

If the ACC calls first, you let the B12 go to voicemail. Brands more identifiable to me, closer road trips .... and the one big, glaring one.

I hope Pittsburgh gets shafted after what they did to the Big East.

We are building a OCS, football center, etc...

We need the money.

Even if it is the PAC2 (and they guarantee a competitive offer). As long as we don't agree to a 99-year or $500 million exit fee, lol.

I like Utah's deal.

Questions.

1. I see many comparisons between a depleted ACC and the B12.  At what point does the depleted ACC become a lower level conference.  WE know FSU and Clemson leave.  Is is if UNC and another leave?  Or does it take more for the ACC to be considered truly depleted?

2.  I still see people talking about media markets.   With cable pretty much a thing of the past does the market in which the school is located really matter?  I look at Rutgers or Vandy.  Both in good markets, but with cable subscriptions not a thing does it matter anymore?  Miami is a classic example. They have some national following, but don't carry much in terms of Miami, which is a big market, unless they are winning.  Maybe followers online mean more?

Big 12, more stability, ACC is getting ready to hit an ice berg, not sure if they can withstand the impact.

Utah doesn't really have any exceptions. It's a nothing burger just due to slightly different language. But they're still bound to all terms every Big 12 member is. The 99 years membership clause is just to give a tangible length to the conference membership since some places don't allow contracts that run in perpetuity. But the conference agreement for any conference (not the GOR) is pretty much "I'm a member indefinitely, until I'm not".

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
