The first thing that I'd say that a G5 school needs to do is get into the ACC after Florida State and Clemson leave. That will be the best option available for continued growth in media rights revenue for immediate use to grow and develop.

All this USF to BIG stuff is nutty, but I do appreciate these clowns mentioning USF. Last year no one would have talked about us so the investments being made is making people (although they are 55 year old dudes in their parents basement) notice.

He is right. For the SEC is more important to expand markets than getting football powers. They have enough of those. This is why I see them being more interested in UNC/ Virginia than FSU/ Clemson.

UNC/UVA are state flagship universities in new adjacent states, this is exactly what the SEC looks for. Adding new markets in fast growing states.

FSU has a shot at the BigTen but Clemson in my book is in a tougher spot for an SEC/BigTen invite
