That likely means Texas A&M will negotiate an out from the SEC with UT now stealing their Lone Star State shine in the SEC; especially given that the programs with the most influence so badly want the Aggies in the B1G.

"Checked once again this morning to see if there have been any changes to the B1G schools, regarding their interest in adding quality football schools who aren't AAU accredited," Swaim prefaced before saying, "The answer is still the same...sorry FSU and Clemson fans, but it'll be the SEC.

If you want to try a margarita that actually tastes good:

[makes two servings]

cut a whole lime into 1/8 chunks (add to blender, rind and all)
add 1 cup of water
add 1/2 cup tequila
add 1/4 cup white sugar
add 1/8 cup of Gran Marnier (preferred), Cointreau, or Triple Sec

Blend on high until the limes are pulverized
Strain with a fine mesh strainer and then pour over ice.

I still like how he thinks the SEC is a terrible conference.  However FSU may become unremarkable at that point.

Remember that person on here that talked about speaking with someone at USF (athletics dept?) that said B1G would make a Southern sweep at some point.

I'm afraid the barrier to entry is too high for us at this point for the B10.  In some ways we are similar to Rutgers - large market that we don't dominate, middling on the field performance.  The problem is our "large market" is not the same as the NY metro area.  We are also a direction school, and although that stigma is wanning, I think is hard to overcome.   

The school that best fits the B10 profile in Florida is UF.  Has anyone considered what B10 membership would mean to their bottom line?  I don't know, just asking.

How crazy would it be that they swooped in to take UF and FSU backfilled them in the SEC?

OR... what if the B1G took Texas A&M along with UF. To obtain the Texas and Florida market?

 

The SEC would have to take FSU and Clemson to backfill. 

 

Miami would either stay in the ACC or go the Big12... Either way, there is room for us.
