Yes, this is true... but the G5 champion doesn't automatically make it to the semifinals... The G5 champion will (more than likely) have to win on the road at at a Top 5-10 P4 program.

Good point. The implied G5 autobid will almost always be the 5th best champ, almost always as the 12th seed in the playoffs bracket. Which means a hostile road game instead of a somewhat neutral NY6 bowl.

So our best bet is ACC having a team(s) leave or Added USF anyways?

... and the viewcount is embarrasingly low!! How!? We have 400,000 alumni!

Look up USF anything... and compare the number of views (or comments, like, shares) to videos on Cincy, ucf, Memphis, Tulane, etc...

I don't think you can really compare our alumni to graduates of c. The knats are the only game in town for Orlando. So, their fans will naturally be more invested overall, because they have the spare capacity for fandom.

That said, we don't have a problem filling a stadium, when we win. Name more than 10 schools that fill up their stadium, when they suck.

Personally, I take it as a badge of honor that we're not all over social media like those ****heads ...

Where the Swaim haters now?

Did I miss the part where all this has become a reality?

Three years later and they are in the SEC.   For us, much easier to move on from the AAC versus them leaving the B12.   There's that at least.

I think WVU fans would be a huge proponent of playing USF again. Nostalgia is real between our two programs. I also think WVU and USF, more than any of the other former Big East schools, miss the BE.

I would add Miami to the list that may miss their old Big East days

I dont think they care. I've heard Pat McAfee talk about WVU\USF a couple times and all he has mentioned was barely remembering the crazy coach. Maybe fans have a better memory.

It meant a lot more for us than them.

They would likely never admit it but they were better off in the Big East.  Same is true for Syracuse and Pitt.
