My opinion, just go 16 teams. Non-P conferences get one rep each, best Indy team gets a rep, split the remaining 8 to top 4 of each P2 conference. Power teams get their larger cut, rest of CFB gets inclusion.

Oh they are already talking about this, but the access to nonP2 will be worse. At the end I see the P2 taking 12-13 of the spots. Big 12 gets one, ACC gets one, Best G5 gets one. Once in awhile a second B12 or ACC gets in.

College World Series was a two-conference affair.  Why not football?  Just the way things are trending these days.

There is a fair way to do this, and for them to get the lion’s share of the money.

They did this exclusionary ******** a few times now, and it always ended up with a lawsuit forcing them to slowly include the rest of cfb.

That is where the BCS came from, to replace the exclusionary practice before hand. At one point, the Big Ten and PAC were excluded in some fashion because of their tie-in to the Rose Bowl.

I know this last statement is going to sound whiny and entitled, but it is just not fair to the fans, athletes, coaches of these programs to automatically be on the back foot and put in a more difficult spot.
