Some of you are all so negative, what gives?

We're arguing about whether or not we complained in force, after becoming #2?  If we did enough?

Snap out of it.  :roflmao:

BTW, I looked at a stat, whose accuracy may not be perfect.  But according to the site stats, we had 761 Topics in Golesh's first month of September, in 2023.  In September of 2007 there were 2,327 topics.  In September 2008 - 2,710.  Topics created, not posts...

good post, Brad! Thanks!

Kansas would make more sense in the B1G.

It has been almost 17 years.

It has been almost 17 years. The only complaint I have  is when I look in the mirror, it's not the same guy I saw in 2007.

Just wait a few more years. I tell everyone that I thank the Good Lord every day that I walk in the bathroom first thing and that ugly mug is staring back at me.

Their invitation is likely sitting next to ours on Pettiti’s desk. He has to be thrilled about picking up a couple AAU schools that haven’t done much in football, but KU does sit in the #70 tv market.

Kansas is like Syracuse and UCONN.

Doesn't make sense for either they SEC or BigTen to take them.

Mizzou needs a rivalry again. I think Kansas makes a lot of sense for the SEC. FSU/UNC/Duke/Kansas for the SEC to 20 makes a good argument.

I know there is a lot of sarcasm in this post, but KU media market is a weird thing. If you give them Kansas City, how much impact does a state school in a different state have? Like, would Valdosta Georgia have more Gator fans or Bulldog fans, Gators are closer, but state pride I bet makes that city more Georgia Bulldog.

From my experience KC is very much KU due the proximity of the campus to KC, only line 30 or so minutes.  They have a reciprocal in-state tuition between the two states as well.  Nothing like the Valdosta example IMO.

Arkansas is Mizzou's biggest rival historically.
