I thought only we got our ass kicked and then turned our noses up due to our perception of being better, nice to have some company.  I have always went with the motto of “if you can’t beat them then disparage them”. I am pretty sure I coined this phrase.

This was back in the early 2000's when I would visit their forums. The WVU guys were decent, the Rutgers guys managed to be both pitiful and condescending.  Never found where the Boston college folks hung out.

The spent all their time complaining about being in a league with us even though they sucked. It's kind of how we complain about the AAC.  Then they were invited to the ACC where they sucked there. 

I guess that made me hope that we just do well wherever we are and not criticize our league mates unless we were dominating.

^^^ Yep, this is why this thread has 4000 pages.

It was eerily quiet around here and our other boards the week we were ranked #2.  There was nothing to complain about just stunned silence.

Kind of like the dog catching the car.  Too bad that car had NJ plates.
