Yup basically it is about the money. They can’t stand seeing their rivals making tons more so it makes sense for them. However they will be like WVU & vanish due to mediocrity imo

WVU can come with us to the ACC and compete again. Would love to have that USF-WVU matchup again, and the Backyard Brawl is a great series.

I know some of people here don’t want it, and I am one of them, but if UCF came with us to the ACC that is another huge rivalry game!

I feel like FSU is either winning Nattys or doing really badly.. and that's in the ACC. If FSU does go to the SEC, it's possible they may never even win their conference again. Have fun with that Noles fans.

At the end of the day though, as a fan, I would rather have exciting weekly matchups than have an easy route to the national championship, because those are rare and no need to expect one. What a tortured existence the bluebloods have.          50% /s

I would be over the moon if ucf got stuck in the B12 leftovers and USF got called up to the much more interesting conference ACC.

I'd say there's a pretty good chance that they may win 1 SEC title per generation if lucky. But the flip side to that is that with the 12 team playoffs, they don't need to win the whole thing. Top 4 SEC teams are probably in most years.

I think culturally, FSU fans act like they have already been in the SEC for the last 20 years. If I were an FSU fan, I'd want them in the SEC solely so that my delusions finally matched reality.
