ACC already has Florida markets in FSU and Miami.

They won’t be adding USF, we won’t be expanding their TV foot print.

If FSU leaves for SEC and B1G wants a Florida foot print and snags Miami, then the ACC has zero.

Thought all this USF to the ACC discussion was contingent upon FSU and/or UM leaving. Doesn't make sense otherwise ...

Well that’s likely to happen. But on the good side, because our location and market, USF would be a likely target. Now we need to do our part and win to get us more attractive and increase our value.

Exactly! Well said. Thanks!

Miami doesn’t really look bring the TB market. FSU is basically out the door. Besides I believe the other schools would prefer to have two Florida schools to help with travel & recruiting.

That’s dependent on FSU leaving ACC, which is very likely

It was I thought however as the moderator I would like for you to go back through the 4k pages and provide us a synopsis of your findings, we obviously have not been very clear on our projections causing confusion amongst our members. We need to do better.

My Synopsis is that I found the source spreading lot of rumors of trying to get some poop to  stick to the wall.

I am still of the opinion that when the OCS opens in September 2027, USF will still be a member of the AAC. I think it will be the early 2030’s when USF will finally escape from the cesspool that is the AAC.

Replacing FSU has value.  FSU leaving means fewer viewers for the ACC.    So while, you are right the footprint is not expanding ... adding USF prevents contracting.

Does USF even draw decent tv ratings in Tampa? Are the locals even watching ?
