What Miam has against it is the fact that it a smallish private school.  Isn't the rest of the B1G big state schools?

I would think if the SEC has two footholds in UF and possibly FSU, the B1G may want to have two as well.

Makes it more ideal for travel & recruiting to have at least two Florida schools. They might as well grab two Texas schools while they are at it. Eventually everyone is going to awaken & say how in the heck did we get here!

I realize it’s an unrealistic long shot for USF to get invited to the B1G, but if someone wants to pass along to them that I don’t live too far from UW (Washington),and it would make traveling to see USF easier on me I would appreciate it. AAU, new stadium, up and coming coaches, great location, large enrollment, and at least one fan willing to drive an hour for a biannual away game should all be part of our presentation.

This may be off topic but it really is not off topic. The P2 & NIL basically need to be taken down & restructured for the good of college football imo. So hopefully the P2 continues to over expand and then we continue to see more lawsuits. Gonna get worse before it gets better. Until then I’m gonna continue to just focus on USF.

Caps. Salary Caps for coaches and players, contracts to prevent players from playing for 5 different schools, schools should also honor the NIL deals they enter.

Exactly! When legendary coaches like Saban retire and pretty much state that the NIL is bad for college football then hopefully they do something to fix the issues.
