Honest question, how is the current makeup of the B12 significantly different than that of the ACC less FSU and Clemson? To me, it seems like a draw and they’re interchangeable as 3rd and 4th best, but online people act like the ACC is vastly inferior. Am I underestimating the appeal of Ok. St. And WVU?

I agree without FSU and Clemson in terms of the pecking order ( ACC vs Big 12) I think they are about the same. The ACC would be a better fit for us geographically and I guess academically as well.

I would be fine with either one. Personally whichever opportunity presents itself first.

Thankfully MK has good ties with both the ACC & NCAA. To me that is what makes him more valuable at USF rn.

All the ACC has to do is ask WVU to join & they will say yes due to geography and they save tons more on travel. Plus it brings the backyard brawl back to a conference. OK St will probably end up in the SEC at some point imo

OKSt has little value for SEC. They got that state’s big fish already. I would say that in the SEC’s eyes the following are ahead of OKState.

1. UNC, Virginia

2. NCST, Virginia Tech

3. West Virginia, Kansas or Kansas State

The SEC will be more attracted to the big name schools in adjacent states before going after OKState in fact FSU, Clemson would be more attractive if they were going to add a school already in their footprint
