I am not sure everyone understands the criteria on how we rate these various prognosticators.  If it is something positive about USF they are experts, well connected and even astute, if not they are hacks, bums and ignorant buffoons.

You're right.  Most of the "basketball over football" FBS teams don't travel more than 1 time zone away for Olympic sports.

The dichotomy of man. The conference is probably even with the B12 at that point.

I imagine the leftovers of the American would merge with MWC. CUSA top teams leave for Funbelt, and rest merge with MAC.

So, power 2; Middle 2; Bottom 2 with pro-rel. Each pair has their own 8 team playoff or whatever it is at that point. Bowl games for conference championships and playoffs (15 bowl games?).

Who cares it is basketball. Players are encouraged to fall and flail around like soccer players. Football is the money maker and driving force in power conferences realignment or expansions.

Just sayin" the UConn's and Kentucky's care more about basketball but I agree they would have nearly as good matchups in a new totally regional conference.

Let’s face it if FSU leaves ACC, USF is almost a slam dunk to be added. There Rea T any other options for them, that offer what we have.

I thought this was interesting.  This is one guy's recap of all the realignment shenanigans that happened over the last decade mainly focused on the PAC / BIG12. 

Gets into some of the backroom money deals and stuff.
