This is the time for USF to make our move.

Luckily we are dominating this game right now.

In all seriousness, that level of competition is much better and would be a huge step up regardless of how much it gets watered down.

Let's do it - Reunite the Big East and this time don't let the foot off the gas.  Invest in the stadium and retain the staff and players.

Slow your roll, we won the roof claim bowl, not exactly the Sugar however the wind has shifted and it feels different, even if some of this is simply our unfettered optimism.

This is not as useful (since we're not listed) but one bit of info that stood out to me is that SMU only was on OTA once!   Still salty they can buy their way out.

I was half joking, but we are trending up.  I'm happy with that. :iconic_u_black:

If you zoom in on the only quadrant that matters - 70 football success and 90 academic ranking, USF and Air Force are the only Gx schools.  It's a no brainer!

There are so many reasons that USF is a great realignment candidate.  This isn't news.  I just can't figure out why we can't get this to happen.   Additionally, it is painful that our peers have left us behind and yet we remain.  This talk of protecting the state of FL from the B1G by adding FSU to the SEC.  What about USF man?  What do we do to become a viable candidate?

My problem with that is say Washington wins but their star qb gets hurt. Does the CFP then invite Georgia since they are healthy? Injuries should never be factored into the equation. It should be strength of schedule, top 25 wins, top 25 wins to teams ranked at the end of the season, conference championship titles, and undefeated.

By reading the previous few pages I guess I'm in the minority but I've got no real problem with FSU being left out ..... this coming from someone with a Bobby Bowden signed Seminole hat. Injuries should absolutely be factored in when talking about the four best teams in the country at any point in time, and that's stated in their criteria for assessing. Where the Committee screwed up was when they put FSU back in the top 4 after beating a mediocre Gator team. They were a different team without Travis and two games wasn't enough to quantify how good they actually were without him.

Good news is this is the last year this specific oversight will occur.
