FSU is coming off looking like a bunch of babies throughout this process. Bottom line is that they didn’t deserve one of the 4 playoff spots after their star QB got hurt.

My problem with that is say Washington wins but their star qb gets hurt. Does the CFP then invite Georgia since they are healthy? Injuries should never be factored into the equation. It should be strength of schedule, top 25 wins, top 25 wins to teams ranked at the end of the season, conference championship titles, and undefeated.  Problem is there are only four teams able to get in and being honest Georgia is probably better or as good as every thing in there. Georgia got left out, OSU got left out, and FSU got left out. Using the quarterback's injury as a way to leave them out was wrong, embarassing, and should never be factored it. This is why the 12team CFB playoff needed to happen from the start. All  power/g5 conference winners in fbs football should get a spot and the rest should be open to the best teams left.

They definitely look whinny. I think this was about sending a message more than anything. It will have dangerous repercussions. Sportsmanship will take a hit and scores will be run up, because no one will want to be left out. They earned a spot and should’ve been in based on precedent. The council of Sauron, err, I mean playoff committee can’t just pull **** out of their ass to appease the SEC and everyone else be damned. If this keeps up just abolish the committee and bring back the computers

ESPN would not have it any other way. The tricked people thinking NIL was going to be the NCAA and networks paying the players profits from the universties,but really it is the fans paying while ESPN makes millions.
