Not a huge surprise here, but my inside sources say USF is evaluating its long term future.

Swain seems like some die hard Ok St/Big12 fan that doesn't realize the value of the conference left with Texas and Okalahoma. Just like the value of the pac12 left with USC,UCLA ,Washington, and Oregon.  I think UCLA was really only invited so the B1g Ten can have the Rose bowl. UCLA was been pretty mediocre and irrevlant this millenium . Maybe it was a package deal or maybe the B1G just wanted the two biggest California teams.

Exactly! Well said. Big Swaim better hope the SEC comes calling for OK ST or they may be screwed.

I mean it is like if Clemson and FSU leave the ACC the value drops substantially. Once OK/Texas leave the value will drop and I have a feeling their new contract will be less than the ACC. The big two Texas teams are in the SEC and I imagine they take up about 70% of the Texas market for favorite teams from Texas and the big school from Okalahoma is leaving and they take up the majority of the Okalhoma market. Colorado will be their most watched team from 2023 and is the onlyother team in the top 25 is UTAH . The top 25 is dominated by the  new SEC (11 teams),new  B1G(8 teams), has two ACC Teams FSU and Clemso, and the B12 has two teams Utah and Colorado. ND in the only independent in the top 25. SEC still has the best teams top to bottom and ratings.  Navy has the most views for an AAC team. Personally I don't see Colorado having  long term-value if Prime doesn't go to a ny6 bowl in the next two years. The hype already died down with the train went off the tracks.

The TV viewership numbers are in for the 2023 college football season.

Cant be suprised espn kille dthe pac 12. The long term goal in my opinion is to kill everything but the SEC and B1g. You have the power 2 and the leftovers group of whatever.

Here's the ESPN article:

Florida State is once again discussing its long-term future in the ACC after the Seminoles were left out of the College Football Playoff earlier this month, source told...

To be clear, Florida State is not leaving the ACC in the near term but is merely weighing its options -- a difficult task that also has come with trepidation among some involved in the talks.
