Mizzou's coach has a great point about the CFP committe.

If a team in the playoff has a star player get injured, are they going to get removed from the playoff and then we put Florida State back in? That to me was complete nonsensical rationalization, and I know I’m an SEC guy. But, that one bothered me a whole lot, and then to not factor in maybe a team having an unfair advantage in some of their games. It just seemed like to me we were picking and choosing what lens we were going to look through,” the Missouri coach said during an appearance on College Sports on SiriusXM earlier in the week.

Eli Drinkwitz might coach in the SEC, but he thinks what happened to Florida State makes no sense. He raised a great question.

If Bama wins it boost our Strength of schedule for next year. I'm all for Bama. We aren't playing anymore of the team cfp teams next year.

tbf Alabama is by far the strongest team on our schedule so I don't think it will have an appreciable effect if they lose

It would be our biggest win since I don't know when.  Probably biggest ever?

My reason for not choosing the others

1. Michigan scandal, they don’t deserve to be there

2. Texas beat Alabama but had the worse loss out of the 1 loss contender

3. Alabama struggled against us and lucked out against Auburn

In reality the CFP should be.

1. Washington

2. FSU

3. tOSU

4. UGA

You could even swap UGA and tOSU.

Does anyone know why the Big 12 deal with UConn fell apart? Curious to know how that same issue might scuttle a potential ACC expansion to include UConn.

It didn't make sense for UConn for the same reasons that they left the AAC. They were on an island, playing teams that their core fanbase didn't care about in football or basketball. Granted, the Big 12's basketball is much better than the AAC, but they already play basketball in a pretty good Big East, and football is second fiddle there. They would've been an even bigger outlier in the Big 12 than they were in the AAC.
