Happy for smu to win this conference title. They are a inspiration to us all in doing everything in their power to get out of this nightmare of a conference.

Plus SMU has terrible fan support.  I doubt they get selected to a NY6 bowl as they can’t seem to draw flies.

I think that's exactly right. They got creative and were able to get out.

I am ecstatic that we  are getting an OCS, but if you gave me the choice; 300+ million for an OCS, or 300 million + to buy yourself into the ACC, i would pick the ACC.

I'm not sure it was that creative, more like right place, right time. ACC wanted to get into Texas on the cheap and SMU had the location and oil money, neither of which we have, to make it happen ....

In new relegation format, FSU to SEC, Gators to AAC, renamed North Central Florida University and designated as our temporary in-state rive in the annual Survive on I-75 game.  Of course, that would only until our ultimate call up to the ACC (which now, apparently, does not give us a very good path to the CFP either).
