The PAC is dead, there’s not going to be any revival at this point.  Wazzu and Oregon state are just going to join the mwc in football.  They’re already reworking their schedules to fit MWC teams before then.  There’s no money for them to buyout any school from their contracts, much less offer a a tangible package due to no media deal being in place.  The only money they’ll have is ncaa tournament credits (total of 60m paid over the next 7 years), the Rose bowl contract is done with the PAC after ‘23/24, nothing there to use either.  

We’ll be ripe for the picking to the ACC once they get decimated by the sec, big 10 and big 12 in ~7 years.

Not a fan of backfilling the PAC2. I would rather the scraps of the AAC and the Scraps of the MWC merging than that huge of a travel cost.

Wonder If the Big 12 is waiting for WSU and OSU to offer them an SMU type deal to join? I doubt WSU\OSU have the money SMU does, but they have to be desperate to get relegated to the MWC.

Part of what allowed this to work for the ACC is that they have a conference network, so adding Dallas and San Francisco gives them a new carriage fee base. The Big 12 doesn't have a conference network and WSU/OSU don't have the market for this to work.
