The B12 isn't going to pull any ACC schools... when the current B12 deal ends in 2031, their payout is going to drop... meanwhile the ACC will be increasing thanks to the ACC Network.

Exactly! This is why I know USF is going to eventually get the call up to either ACC or big 12. Basically it is a waiting game to see who is going to move first. Will FSU be leaving soon to open up a spot in ACC for USF. Or will USF have to wait until the ACC raids big 12 to open up a spot in the big 12 for USF. In the meantime I do believe USF is heading in right direction with their football now. Hopefully mens hoops does better too. Exciting times for USF!!

The SEC one I couldn’t even keep a straight face when I was posting that one. The world would have to basically fall apart before that would happen. Hell would have to freeze over or something lol

Plus as I've said many times. The money the leftover schiils are going to make from the  4-6 leaving schools will be huge.  The ACC  eventually we will see Big 12 schools with a more geographical fit move to the ACC

I’m not sure what would worry me more. Hell freezing over or USF having to compete in the SEC lol

Vanderbilt 2.0. Ninety years in the conference and a 24% in-conference winning percentage. I firmly believe that if U of SF were to put forth the effort, equaling Vandy's success is an attainable objective.

If you are using the Bulls and SEC in the same sentence, you must be talking about Wall Street.

I'd be highly surprised if more than 2 leave - FSU/Clem - I do not think anyone else's athletics and/or boosters can afford the exit fees. Maybe UNC? Miami's booster will be in prison before realignment swings again. UVA alum aren't going to give $250MM+ just so they can play Maryland and not play against VaTech. They couldn't care less if the UVA athletic department makes another $20MM/year. Plus, the ACC is UNC's conference - the tobacco road basketball schools' conference - and FSU/Clemson leaving only increases the academic profile of the conference. Cinci will want to be in the ACC more than Louisville will want in the B12.

Basically that would be one of the best case scenarios if USF ends up in the ACC.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
