What part of their sense is incorrect? If they could go to market alone right now they would double up their ACC payouts, that they are subsidizing people entitled to far less is exactly their gripe.

And basically anyone thinking FSU is making less than big 12 schools does not understand how it all works. FSU makes tons others ways outside the conference media deals. It is hilarious that we are continuing to see so called experts think otherwise lol

They aren't losing anything else by going to a better conference that has a better deal, anyone misunderstanding that their complaint is 100 percent valid is purposefully misunderstanding that their conference mates are directly costing them money. Everyone that thought they were worth way more than their conference TV has been proven way right.

I’m going to be shocked if FSU & Clemson doesn’t end up in the SEC and we will probably see the invite coming by next summer.

2022 Payouts per conference based on conference tax returns

B1G ~ $58.8MM/school (Nebraska, Maryland, Rutgers less than others)

SEC ~ $49.9MM/school

B12 ~ $42-45MM/school

ACC ~ $38-41MM/school (ND $17.4MM)

PAC ~ $37MM

ACC's revenue will be increasing per school (based on the new expansion $), +ACCN growth. Additionally, the top "performing" schools will be receiving heavier payouts based on their new rev-share which will be understood better once it kicks in.

Point is - do not believe the media hype around "UCF making more (conference payout $) than FSU" - it does not paint a full picture and I'd be surprised if it were to ever happen. 2023's conference payouts will be interesting - but 2024's will really be a better indication.

But no serious people think they will go to the B12 and this has them already $20 million behind the B1G without accounting for the fact the B1G has grown in contract as well at a rate no amount of +ACCN money could dream of going. They can't get to an equitable TV contract in the ACC

Yes comparing the ACC to the B1G/SEC - they will be lagging. How much will the top of the ACC (+ performance incentives) be behind them is yet to be seen. Probably will be significant. As for compared to the B12? Not the case.

The people speculating about realignment have their agendas.  Many are proponents of a particular conference.  Often just tweeting what they want to have happen or believe.  I still like to read it for fun.
