After FSU and Clemson is Ok State the top football school between ACC and Big12?

I would say Notre Dame, Miami, Georgia Tech

I would be surprised if WSU and OSU were invited to the Big 12. Cal and Stanford were much better programs ,and the Big 12 passed on them.

The Big 12 right now is going to sit back and wait to see what happens to the ACC. I think as soon as Clemson, FSU, and NC leave, the Big 12 is going to target Louisville, Georgia Tech, and Miami. The ACC on the other hand as well will make a move for Big 12 teams.

Who will come out on top is hard to say, but we will become a beneficiary of this since whichever conference loses out is going to have to backfill teams with Group of 5 teams

Sit back and bring out the pop corn

the big 12 didn't pass on them. they wanted nothing to do with the big 12.

could you imagine stanford begging to join the likes of ucf, kansas state, texas tech  over duke, unc, notre dame, etc?? completely laughable.

Not an ACC school in football. Otherwise, I would have put ND before UM.

Why would any G5 conference agree to a 12 at-large?

What is their alternative?  P4 says "take it or leave it."

How is ND a half member in football?

Yes, ND is a full ACC member in other sports, but the original question asked about football, not other sports. ND is not an ACC member for football - they're fully independent in that sport.

Stanford first choice would have been Big 10 but Cal and Stanford would have jumped on a Big 12 invite. The ACC invite only came after a lot of leg pulling and almost didn't come through. Big 12 would have been a better fit with Utah, BYU, Colorado, Arizona . and Arizona state being  much closer in geography.

ND has an agreement to play FIVE games per season against ACC teams... so that's about half of a conference season.  In exchange they also get access to the ACC bowl tie ins.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
