The Army/Navy game after the season would not be a conference game so it would have no effect on which teams are in the conference championship the week before.  Each of them would have already played their 8 conference games.

McNeese State got $500,000 to play at Florida.  Ball State got $1.6 Million to play at Georgia and another $1.6 Million to play at Kentucky the week before so the SEC appears to be willing to write some pretty big checks for some “one and done” games.  I presume the BiG, ACC, etc. would also be willing to write some pretty big checks for a 1 and done game.

I'm not. We are usf and as a fan base  if we are are scared of rice then we have deeper  issues.

We started talking trash fans of FCS opponents about having beaten them and discussing the quality of FCS wins, I would think we are running out of depths to sink to but apparently there is always a lower.

The Rice game is a conference game while Bama is not. I would not mind seeing more of the 3rd string play against Bama to give ours 1st & 2nd units a rest before heading into conference season.  Im going to take the Spurrier mindet and keep telling everyone that USF needs to focus one winning their conference 1st. Everything will fall into place after that.
