Exactly because the disparity of money is so huge, they are going to go anyway at some point unless the air comes out of the media balloons first.

The ACC shot themselves in the foot too.  The teams added will diminish the tight-knit community that was the ACC.  I wonder how much of the add was orchestrated by ESPN.  No I'm not paranoid.

Temple, Coastal and Liberty in the most reliant on student tuition category (for core budget).  Rice in the least reliant category.

Why not just keep the Army - Navy game like it is and not have it count as a conference game? In the unlikely event that either of those teams happen to ever be in contention for the conference championship and a playoff spot, then the Army -Navy game can either be an exhibition game or it could be postponed. I mean, they are changing every other tradition in college football after all...

No need to postpone.  The AAC championship is the Saturday before their game.

It's going to get spicy out there!  Some would rationally question the cost-benefit of universities at this point and go a different route without debt.

If it is between them for conference champ, just push our championship game to that weekend?

Is the date that important that they couldn’t play the last game of regular season?

Yep. Just because Army & Navy are resident in the same conference does not mean that their game - which, just being honest - is the most relevant game (potentially as of this post, assuming Army joins, etc.) attached to the AAC, needs to be modified. The laws of physics that govern the big Charlotte at North Texas game do not apply to the rich history of Army Navy. The rivalry between Army and Navy is so much more than some arbitrary conference membership.
