I will enjoy playing those team in an OCS because wtf am i going to do about it anyways? Might as well enjoy what football I can get out of the Bulls. I'd rather watch the Bulls lose or win playing "lesser" teams then not be able to watch them at all. Additionally, I don't care how we start winning nor do i care what conference we are in when we start winning. But I do think that had we been winning the past 3 years and we had an OCS, we would be a lot closer to being in, if not in, a different conference. And SMU? That was a foothold grab if anything else. ACC has no Texas teams hence SMU was more desirable than USF. IMO, I think the B10 will be the conference that comes for us if any come for us at all simply for the Florida foothold access.

All in all my two cents, which means about as much to college football as it does to you.

Well said. And yes one of the interesting things is that eventually both big ten & SEC will make more moves. And let’s be honest, they are calling the shots. They can offer an invite to pretty much any school in the other conferences & and they will jump as soon as the invite comes. USF is still in a great position. I would have been worried if USF was winning tons & still got passed up. But in reality, USF needs to start winning no matter what conference they are currently in. I’m excited & hyped about how USF performs in these next few seasons.

Got a chance to go see the Braves play in their newer stadium when USF blew it up in ATL against GaTech. Very nice baseball stadium. Hopefully we hear the Rays announce their new stadium this December

I couldn't disagree more. GSU doesn't give you the Atlanta market. Georgia Tech and Georgia are the kings in that market and except for alum and students no one cares about GSU.  Adding these big metro teams like Rice, and Charlotte is where the AAC went wrong in my opinion.

If we don't add any West Coast teams ( and I still think that should be the focus) we should look to Army, Appalachian State, and Marshall in that order. Other teams to consider if they can have some sustained success are Coastal Carolina and Liberty.

Grab teams with a high potential that care about winning football games and have won games. Consistently grabbing that playoff spot is absolute main priority for the conference.

Army is what they are.
