While I don’t like SMU getting into the ACC, I don’t think this necessarily changes our plans/goals. We can rebuild our program in a weaker conference and we still have access to the CFP; which if we can get there, still helps with our national brand and visibility. We may not be making more money or playing major teams, but ESPN is going through major changes, conference realignment is a major mess and this will change over the next 4-5 years. WHEN FSU, Clemson and whoever leave the ACC, we will be ready and in a better position. Also, if the ACC explodes, we will be in a position of value and won’t have to “buy” our way in. Let’s keep positive and focus on what we can control.

So when can SMU, Cal, Stanford start voting for conferences expansion for ACC?  Hopefully SMU puts in a good word for USF lol
