I think in a way the ACC is smart.  Don't sit around and let them eventually destroy you.  But those team selections are weird.

ND being what they are is one of the last great traditions of college football ...... for better or worse.

Well sure, if you want to get literal ........ Actually, though, your 9 weeks is pretty accurate. That 9th week was the UConn game that sealed our fate for that season and maybe perpetuity.

I get that.  That's why I hope to be included in the PAC2 rebuild if it happens.  Thumbs down on the new AAC. However, independence might be a better option later if the CFB playoff returns to exlusivity with no auto spots for G5.

Yep. We could have tolerated that Rutgers game being stolen from us by the refs and Schiano (and possibly ESPN/BCS) and still had a truly memorable and meaningful season.

Take this for what it's worth, we could have made the exact same offer that SMU did and we would not have been invited. No chance that FSU would want that at all.
