Yes I agree. USF had two bad coaching hires in a row. At least CCS took two seasons to derail the program lol. CJS never got any traction lol

It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that FSU is leaving the ACC. Miami could be as well. Wonder if the Big 12 would look at inviting USF to c- block the ACC from maintaining a Florida presence in a major market and make them look at the F_U schools instead.

Great point. I seen some rumors regarding that too. I guess all USF needs to do is do what they can control. Continue to grow on & off the field

What strikes me is how (yet again) Notre Dame gets what they want.  They went to bat for Calford and the ACC agreed to add 'em.  Is it an example of how dependent the ACC is on ND for viability?  Amazing that CFB permits ND's stature and aquiesce to their desires!  And I'm not speaking from a position of envy.  

How frustrating it must be for FSU that ND has this power.

I'm not smart enough to know what the Athletic Department should be doing, but at this point - regardless of broadcast deals, I do think the AAC is so watered down it's hurting us. I'd like to see us just "burn our boats". Take that "Anybody, anytime, anywhere" attitude and go it alone and just try an raise our profile by playing the best programs. I know it's probably an awful idea, but I just feel like the conference is actually an anchor now. The only other option, IMVHO, would be to absolutely DOMINATE the conference and play tough OOC opponents.

7 weeks...there was a bye week in there. I was including the Rutgers game in my count. Even after that, we still had a good chance to win the conference and play in a meaningful NYE bowl.
