Well, this makes the immediate future much bleaker. Just have to keep winning and hope that we can land somewhere when the major ACC programs eventually bolt.

SMU is getting $0 from TV for SEVEN YEARS.  If USF could afford that, and no way it could, USF might be in as well.

ACC wanted to get P5 schools now opposed to G5 schools later to maintain required membership number Brett says.  Guess he forgot that SMU is G5.

The only reason SMU got in was because they aren't getting paid for 7 years....plain and simple.  We'll have our chance, but now was not the time.

If only there was some sort of way to invest $350 million into the program that could be used on something actually consequential instead of a mausoleum vanity project or we could see the same math that smu sees that the conference distribution minus the tv is still higher than the entire aac distribution…. If only.
