Yeah, I think the fact that ESPN just bought a sports book shows how desperate they are. It will also discredit their TV analysts and opinion makers due to the fact that we maybe trying to influence bets; which will be called into question, further hurting their brand. They maybe buying teams in hopes of a miracle or selling power as a last ditch effort. Either way, I think this all gets blown up sooner than later.

Alumni Bill, Goach, CAAR and Coach Mindy all said the same thing at the block party - AAU is huge.  VPMK quietly not there.  As I said before he better be on airplanes cutting some deals if he can't show up for the alumni party.

I think they all pretty much have to say that because we didn't get invite to the big boy's table in conference realignment yet again. It is good for USF , but doesn't move USF Football any more forward. Are we trying to win games against power programs or join the ivy leagues for athletics?

... which would make for some nice road trips in the fall. And if we're feeling all magnanimous, we should invite Cal as well, since we don't want to run the risk of having to include some non-AAU schools.  Of course, we'd all have to forego that whole FBS playoff thingy and settle for life in FCS land.

MK probably just doesn’t want to get bombarded with questions about realignment and renderings.  I doubt he is out of town.
